Down to the Cove, Wanson

Cornish cove with blue seas and cliffs surrounded by yellow gorse

Wanson is a wild untouched part of the North Cornish coastline just south of Widemouth Bay.  The gorse in flower, clings to the cliff edge and marks the paths down .  The beach is secluded and the painting has an air of raw nature painted on unbleached linen.

The oranges and yellows pop whilst the sky is dramatic and draws you in under the brooding cliffs.

80cm square on a deep linen bespoke canvas. Finished with a soft satin varnish and set in a white tray frame.   £3,750
