SONG OF THE SHORE

THE SONG OF THE SHORE

'The Song of the Shore' is a large long seascape painted entirely from memory.  Taking you to the shores of north Cornwall, walking the low tide shoreline between Bude and Northcott mouth.  The sound of the sea in Cornish is 'Mordros'.  When there are no other distractions, the  different sounds of the sea as  the waves hit the shore are rhythmic and lyrical.  If I was more of a wordsmith, I'd be writing poetry too, but for now this is expressed here in paint.

The painting is finished with a soft satin varnish and mounted in a white tray frame.  More details can be sent on request and studio visits are welcome.  140cm x 50cm  £4000
