Sue Read is a professional artist, born and working in Bude on the north coast of Cornwall. She captures the very essence of the sea and coast in her seascape and coastal paintings of her native North Cornwall. The moving skies, the energy of waves and water and carries the very 'spirit of place ' into her work.

Painting directly on the beach or waters edge for a truly instinctive approach, artworks are finished in the studio where there is time for contemplation and refinement.
