Started outside in situ at Northcott Mouth in March.  There was always the threat of a shower but the sun also came through creating sharp contrast on the water and cliffs.  

Loose immediate mark making and colour give this painting a magnificent energy .

Painted in mixed media,  charcoal, pencil, acrylic, neocolour on stretched canvas and framed in a white tray frame. Finished with a soft UV satin varnish. '
