DUCKPOOL EUPHORIA

A summers day in the water resulting in coming back to the studio and wanting to immediately put the feelings down onto canvas. It resulted in a frenzy of painting with very abstract marks that convey the movement of the water and colours that surrounded me. A day of pure summer bliss with light winds, but great surf and friends in the water.

The beach is Duckpool, deep in the valley of Coombe just north of Bude and Sandymouth.

This is painted on a stretched canvas measuring 120 x 90 cm and framed in a white tray frame. Painted in inks and acrylics and a matt varnish, it is full of prussian blues, blue greens with hints of orange and ochre. Price £1,950
