Started outside in situ at Northcott Mouth in March.  A warm spring day drew me to the coast .  It's very different painting directly outside and this painting has all the immediacy of 'plein air'. The gorse was in flower and the wet sand just shimmered in the spring ligt. 

Painted in mixed media,  charcoal, pencil, acrylic, neocolour on stretched canvas and framed in a white tray frame. Finished with a soft UV satin varnish. '
