All go for ....Mordros - "the sound of the SEA" exhibition

Have actually got my feet up with a cup of tea and time to write a quick post. I have been painting for the last six months for a solo exhibition titled MORDROS – the sound of the SEA. The paintings are all hung in the willougby gallery at the Castle, Bude. Invites have been sent out to friends and people who have purchased my work to come and join me for a glass of Dark and Stormy and have a look at the exhibition before it opens to the public on Sunday.

The week has been manic as you can tell from my previous post. Printer problems for posters and just getting it known has taken a lot of time, but there’s no point it being there if no-one knows about it!

It’s the big Diamond Jubilee weekend too, so hoping it pulls a lot of people to the town. The hotels are all very busy and Bude has a folk festival running as well. We are having a street party ourselves on Sunday as part of the Big Lunch Event and are really looking forward to seeing eldest son, Tom who will just have returned from travels in Mexico.

So, will post again soon to let you all know how it went.
